Saturday (3/3) - Part of this gallery has a closeup of some of the pre-cosplay antics that the cosplayers go through, as well as Saturday night all night antics.

Cosplayers prepare as they wait for the Saturday night Cosplay. More cosplayers, relaxing, going over lines, or just plain going nuts. The Fairies get themselves ready. This character doesn't have a CLUE what the boss just said. Going around, I asked people to get goofy for the camera.
Most people got goofy, or at least looked up. I'd like to say that the person was giving the camera a sultry look, but she was probably just bored. Meg's Water Fairy, one of four characters from Yaya Han's original work that would win Best of Show award. Jenny's Ice Fairy, whose wings were made of plexiglass. Yaya Han's Fire Fairy, elaborate to an almost outrageous level.
Leo's Night/Shadow Fairy. I sometimes wonder if Leo's fairy knows how to smile. ;) Closeup of the Shadow Fairy. Purple wings, that's a plus in my book. :) Closeup on the Fire Fairy. In terms of themed costumes, these are top notch. Closeup on the Ice Fairy. A little photoshop touchup work to enhance the perspective of this shot. Dommi's Mad Hatter costume - this skit would take Second Place in the Intermediate category.
Celebrating cosplay wins before the full party begins! One of the saturday night parties in full swing. Saturday Night Dance was actually populated. Having fun with the requisite Glow stick players. Another strange light shot.
Thing about convention dances, pink hair stands out even less. Those crazy southerners, they'll still sell soda that causes cancer.. And people drink it! ;) The saturday night party rolls on, with people crowding around the door for air. This man is causing a ruckus in the lobby.. Why? He's a Pixie Stick dealer, of course! Watch the fans scramble!
